Not a bad spot, considering its location. The staff is very courteous and knowledgable, and the music is prime. The one and only downfall is the crowd that graces this laid back bar with their presence after midnight. It can get a little rough around the edges.

Don't expect friendly service. But this place has two great things going for it. 1. The thinnest, crispiest, tastiest pizza I've ever had. 2. The Reverend on Sundays (and $1 drinks all day) and you will laugh your ass off.

What a awful bar! Dont go there! I never write these reviews but I have never had worse service in the first five minutes. The bartender was absolutely a a**hole. completely rude and unprofessional. To give you an idea, we were kicked out and the bouncer was laughing about how much of a joke the bartenders were...i wouldn't even give them a half-star. Locals say stay home and drink!! Thanks for reading. , Mark

I had a very unpleasant experience which involved my server putting fraudulent charges on my card. However, the owner Betty was very helpful, extremely pleasant and took care of the issue right away. Other than that, the bartenders know how to make a drink and I enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.

I came in on a Wednesday on the way back to my friends house. I was pretty hungry and I heard that the food was pretty good so i went ahead and ordered the The Heart Attack which is a burger with a fried egg. The burger was the bomb and as i was finishing up mu first beer, the waitress brought me another and said somebody bought it for me. The dude looked across the bar and said thanks for your service. I was wearing my air force jacket and suddenly the free drink made a lot of sense. Come to think if it, this was probably the first time somebody bought me a drink because of my military garb and that was really cool! This place has really good and loud music playing and a ton of cool people. I wish there was a bar like this back home! The bar is open so you can look across and see the people on the other side of it. This format really makes a bar more interactive vs looking at booze and watching tv. If your in Cape Coral and you like rick music then you should check this place out.

You have to judge this place on what it is. It is a great, divey, biker bar. The pour is good, and cheap. Outside at the tiki bar people drink, smoke and get loud. You can catch some live music at times. You will find hard working middle class folks burning off their troubles. The people by and large are cordial, middle aged folks tying one on. The food is adequate and cheap. Daily 25 cent appetizers and more. You can go inside to get away from the smoke if you want to. So if that is what you are looking for, few bars in these parts do it as good.

Well, This is a red neck bar trying to be a eatery. I went there on a sunday for the 5.99 breakfast buffet. Real butter, not too shabby biscuits, bacon, sausage patties, sliced beef links, gravy and oh yeah scrambled eggs.. To be honest for a cheap breakfast not so bad OH the potatoes really suck. This is a redneck bar. 2 tables inside each that seat 6 people. and the bar itself. OH YEAH BEWARE SMOKING IS ALLLLOWED********. There is a fresh outdoor bar. the main room is air condition with 4 fans and 4 window a/c units. Perusing the menu they had a Hot wing challenge. Eat 6 of the Atomic wings and they are free. On Thursday 18 oz. porterhouse for 11.99 a great deal IF its any good. Mon-Fri each day a 25 cent item taco pizza slice wing ,etc.. So if you want to dress down in cowboy boots or flip flops chew or smoke tobacco. They are on the edge of Cape Coral entertainment district give them a try.

Great, lively atmosphere. Always a good crowd and the food isnt bad either. The bartenders are very engaging and keep the good times rolling. The bands are pretty good but im not a fan of karaoke night.

Nice idea for a bar. I like the outdoor feel to it but the tap beer was warm, tasted flat, and the overall service a friend and I received was poor. We walked in sat at the bar there were two bar tenders. A male and female. Seemed like they had a couple friends there but no biggie i'm patient enough. The female came and asked us what we liked so we ordered a pitcher of coors light. She dropped of the beer. Walked back over to her friends and her and the male bar tender lit up cigarettes behind the bar. Not that big of a deal until I took a sip of my beer it was god awful warm flat and didn't quite taste right. She came back after a moment and asked if we were ok. We asked for the check with our pitcher and glasses still full. She didn't ask if every thing was ok. Got the check paid and left a tip without drinking anymore we left. I think they have a nice place in downtown Cape Coral. However, they should clean there bar and make sure the beer is at least cold when serving it.

This place is seedy like a watermelon, and I love it. The bathroom looks like someone was murdered in it. The bar is filled with a strange mix of pimps, hustlers, jocks, and bikers. But the prices are cheap and the beer is cold, and the pizza is great. Great place to hang and drink heavily. Not appropriate for kids or a proper date, unless your girlfriend or wife is cool as hell.

My brother and I went to the Dek tonight to have there atomic wings. They advertised that if you ate ten they would give you ten free. My brother and I did that and we asked dj or our 10 free wings and they told us they changed the menu. I went to the manager and they told me they did not honor that on 25 cent wing night. It was never stated that way on the menu and they gave me a couple of free drinks to make me feel better. I wish I had chalengedthis some more but I left. I will not be going back there anytime soon. They stated they had a new menu and had not changed it yet.

Guess there is a place for everyone and this isn't for me.... What you see is what you get, and I surely didn't expect much once driving up. Shortly after arriving I went to use the facilities and nasty water from the toilet meet me at bathroom entrance. Talk about GROSS. I convinced my friends into leaving right after after especially since it was there idea to come here. I'll stick to Fort Myers on Saturday's.

Met friends for the Arts Fest and decided to have pizza here instead of fair food. Very tasty thin crust and sitting outside was enjoyable due to the lovely weather...try them out when you are in Cape Coral.

Like the outdoor seating and crowd. But they really need to clean the bar, taps, and and lines. I'd return, but would only drink from bottles.

I will not go back to this hole in the wall if it was the last place on earth to go keep you're money buy you're on COLD beer and good hot wings because this nasty dog food and hot beer aint worth it.

I used to love this place. I'd frequent every time I was in the Cape. The thing that made it so great, was the employees. Since the last time I was there, all but one have been replaced. It is just not the same anymore.

I've spent far more time in this bar than I thought I ever would. The bartenders are starting to recognize me. Nope, they know me. Thing is, they give lots of booze away. Sign up for their club and you'll get texts for coupons. First one was for a free pitcher. I also got a free $20 tab on my birthday. Like any typical dive with enough room, there's usually a cover band playing or karaoke going. That stuff is always free, too. It sucks because the cigarette smoke in the joint is absolutely overwhelming. Every time I go, I feel like I've aged several months due to the pall. I've got to go to other dives in Cape Coral... Anyway, the clientele is a solid mix of smokers. You have your bikers, your douchey jocks, your country folk and your glamor girls. All of whom smoke cancer sticks as though it were buy one get 4,999 free over at the Indian reservation. Lastly, the beer selection sucks. Yuengling, a bunch of shitty light beers and a complement of over advertised liquor. The food is fried crispy. This place is rote Florida. I guess it's a step in the direction of the lung cancer ward over at the oncology center.

Was my first time visiting the Dek Bar. Had no expectations of what I'd find, but found it to be a fun place to hang out. The bartenders were friendly and did a good job of making sure everyone had a good time. Didn't seem like your typical bar, had more of a party atmosphere with a laid back feel and cheap prices on drinks and food. Will definitely go back again.

The Dek Bar is exactly as advertised: a dumpy, dive bar spot in Cape Coral with amazingly cheap prices and clientele. For our first time visit, we went for the $10 Pitcher and Pizza combo. It is, without question, a great deal -- and worth every penny. The Yuengling pitcher, served with frosted pint glasses, was delightfully cold. The large thin crust, cheese pizza was bubbling out of the oven and pretty darned good. Parmesan and crushed red pepper shakers are always within arm's reach, so you can add some cheesy kick to suit your taste. Happy happy. If you're looking for ambience, forget it. Your plastic pitcher and ancient vinyl barstool are complemented by the tacky bar signs pushing 25-cent specials, the grubby floors, and the almost-full ashtrays. You'll eat your pizza on small paper plates, with a plastic fork and a roll of paper towels. And you know what? It doesn't really matter. You won't even miss the ambience, while you're chowing down on your yummy cheesy pie and chasing it with ice cold beer. The Reverend, who plays live music on Sundays, is a crowd pleaser -- and the regulars have obviously memorized the entire set. More than once, the entire bar broke into song, with everyone singing some long-time favorite melody loudly and horribly out of tune. :) If you can't love a moment like that, the very concept of a dive bar is lost on you. If that sounds like one helluva way to cap your weekend, The Dek might be just your spot.
